Zombie Gunship Survival shoots past two million downloads five days after launch

Limbic Software and flaregames' zombie shooter Zombie Gunship Survival has achieved two million downloads in its first week of release.

The game was launched on May 24th and had hit its milestone as of May 29th. This means it took just five days to achieve its 2 million downloads.

Flaregames also revealed that it had reached the top five rankings in the iPad download charts in 96 different countries. It was a top 10 overall app on iPad in 103 countries.

Having a blast

"We're very pleased with both the initial numbers and to see players getting to grips with the deeper strategic layer behind the core gameplay," said Klaas Kersting, flaregames CEO and founder.

"This is reflected within the highly positive feedback from fans and we can't wait to build on this great start with new game updates coming soon."

Zombie Gunship Survival is a free-to-play take on Limbic's zombie shooting franchise. It scored a passing grade from our In-App Purchase Inspector and was our Game of the Week when it launched.
