Kongregate surpasses 100 million downloads across its mobile games portfolio in four years

Casual game publisher Kongregate has now surpassed 100 million downloads across its entire mobile game catalogue since moving into the space in 2013.

It has launched over 30 titles on mobile, including its most popular releases AdVenture Capitalist from Hyper Hippo and Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards by Synapse. Its portfolio is said to have over 15 million MAUs.

Kongregate aims to continue this momentum by releasing another five games in 2017. Titles include AdVenture Communism and an untitled project from Synpase.

"Our goal is to bring fun, innovative games to players no matter what device they play on," said Emily Greer President and co-founder of Kongregate.

"I'm immensely proud of the strides we’ve made in the mobile game publishing space in just a few short years, as well as the work we’ve done with up and coming indie developers."

We recently chatted to Another Place Productions about the evolution of its Kongregate-published game BattleHand one year after it's launch.

CEO Jeremie Texier told us that "communication is very regular and both sides' objectives remain laser-focused on ensuring that the game performance improves over time".
