Finnish developer Koukoi Games expands Crashing Season IP with new endless runner

Finnish developer Koukoi Games is expanding its Crashing Season IP with a new endless runner mobile game.

Called Crashing Season: Run, players will take control of animals piloting various vehicles as they attempt to avoid oncoming obstacles and ram into hunters.

The original title was released in 2016 and has since been launched countries such as China and Japan following partnerships with MyGamez and Worker Bee.

Crafting a franchise

“The original Crashing Season mobile game showed us the power of a good mobile game IP,” said Koukoi Games CEO Antti Kananen.

“As we managed to bring fun experience for a few millions of players worldwide and develop an IP, which brought us more and better publicity than we first expected, our team decided to continue the Crashing Season franchise.

“With the learnings from the first game, we’re now focusing on developing Crashing Season: Run while bringing something new and exciting to the runner game genre. I’m super excited to see how our team is bringing their vision to life every day, and I’m sure players will be excited to play it.”
