All 4 Games has partnered with eLearning Studios to publish its first VR-compatible game Soar: Tree of Life.

The game is currently available on iOS and Android. A version for the Gear VR will be launched later in June 2017.

Soar: Tree of Life sees players steer a flock of birds through seven levels to return colour to a forgotten island. It is also been designed with various health benefits, such as improving focus, reducing anxiety, and lowering blood pressure and heart rate.

Relax

"Soar is the first game we have published that is also playable in virtual reality and it's great to have been part of its development," said Colin Macdonald, Head of All 4 Games.

"We always welcome a play of the game during a hectic day at the office to help the team to relax!"

Macdonald spoke to us earlier this year at Pocket Gamer Connects London 2017 about why Channel 4 decided to make the push into games. "TV companies and the broadcasters are seeing now the proportion of their viewing that comes from mobile, rather than TV sets," he told us at the time.
