Epic Games teams up with Wargaming Mobile to support mobile developers using Unreal Engine 4

Wargaming has signed a partnership with Epic Games to bring free-to-play mobile games built in Unreal Engine 4 to market.

This agreement comes as part of Wargaming's newly-established mobile development and publishing division, Wargaming Mobile.

This agreement will offer developers building mobile games in Unreal Engine 4 added support from both Wargaming and Epic as part of the Wargaming Mobile Publishing Program.

Mobile push

For Epic's part, developers will be granted access to its premium support service, the Unreal Development Network.

Wargaming will also cover all publishing costs, including the royalty payments taken by Epic for every game launched using Unreal Engine 4.

"We are excited to join Wargaming in this partnership to support and nurture talented mobile developers using Unreal Engine 4,” said Mike Gamble, European Territory Manager at Epic.

“Our most notable successes on mobile are leaders in the online space, and we look forward to seeing even more teams leverage UE4's power and flexibility to bring outstanding free-to-play content to mobile platforms."
