Miniclip and Tencent's War Wings has already found success in the UK in its first week of release with top three spots on the download charts of both the App Store and Google Play.

The game has also now achieved one million downloads during its soft launch in Europe and Australia. It currently holds a 4.5 star rating from over 30,000 user reviews.

To help promote the game, Miniclip has launched a TV ad campaign with a commercial called "Conquer The Skies". The ad is currently airing on TV in the UK and is also available to view on YouTube.

War Wings was originally released in Asia by Tencent, where it reportedly received "millions" of downloads. It has been Westernised and published in the West by Miniclip, which was acquired by Tencent in February 2015.

The game has been launched in the UK a few months ahead of its US release. It is the first game to launch as a direct result of Tencent and Miniclip's relationship.
