Hi-Rez Studios returns to mobile with Paladins Strike

SMITE developer Hi-Rez Studios is back in the mobile space a new mobile shooter called Paladins Strike.

The title is pitched as a 5v5 multiplayer hero shooter with MOBA elements and is set to come to iOS and Android.

The game is based off Hi-Rez’s popular Paladins games on PC, which is also a team-based shooter.

Paladins is one of the most-played titles on Steam despite still being in Early Access. At the time of writing hit a peak of 36,822 concurrent players.

The developer has issued a call for players to join the Paladins Strike alpha test.

A new challenger

Hi-Rez previously announced another mobile game earlier this year in the form of the Clash Royale-like SMITE Rivals.

That game’s development was put on hold however after the studio decided additional development time was needed before releasing.
