Dublin studio plans to open launch Oculus, PSVR and Vive versions of its flagship game

Sneaky Bears VR developer WarDucks raises $1.5 million

VR games developer WarDucks has secured a seed investment round of €1.3 million ($1.5m).

The funding was led by Suir Valley Ventures, with additional funds coming from Enterprise Ireland and private investors.

As part of the agreement, Toby Raincock, CEO of London-based independent financial services company Shard Capital, is joining the board.

Sneaky plans

The Dublin studio’s leading brand is Sneaky Bears, which reached number 24 on the top selling Gear VR charts, while its sequel Sneaky Bears Rollercoaster reached number two.

WarDucks has now launched a new version of Sneaky Bears as a full-length VR game on the PSVR and Oculus Rift, with a Vive version launching soon.
