IMGAs opens for submissions to its 14th annual global competition

The International Mobile Gaming Awards has opened submissions for its 14th annual global competition.

The competition is open to mobile, AR, and VR games published in 2017 or at least downloadable in a playable form. Submissions are free, and the deadline closes on December 31st 2017.

An online judging selection will then occur, with a shortlist of games announced in February 2018. The winners will then be revealed at the award show in San Francisco on March 20th 2018.

Tough competition

"For the 14th year running, the IMGA will highlight the top achievements in the gaming world. As usual with its two-round unique judging session, the competition will give big studios and indie developers an equal chance of winning the Grand Prix. We can't wait to discover the best games of the year!" says Maarten Noyons, IMGA's CEO and founder.

"Moreover, the talent and creativity of a woman or a man will be honoured by the Game Artist of 2017 Award, a new category that was launched last year."

Developers with an eligible game can enter the competition for free via the IMGA website.

The IMGAs recently revealed the finalists for its second SEA competition. The awards ceremony for that competition will be held on October 13th in Singapore.
