A new free directory listing all available sources of financing available to the UK games industry called The Financer List has been launched.

The website has been set up by industry veterans Ella Romanos and Oscar Clark. The curated resource lists financing options from venture capital through to government grants and loans.

It covers local, national and international level funding across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Fundamentally Games said it aims to keep the list updated regularly to ensure it remains accurate and relevant to developers.

“We often work with developers who are searching for funding, and one of the key challenges they face is simply knowing which funding options are out there,” said Fundamentally Games Co-founder Ella Romanos.

“The funding landscape has become complex and vast; we hope that having a directory of funders will give companies a useful starting point for their funding research.”
