Glu Mobile has posted its financials for its Q3 FY17 for the three months ending September 30th 2017.
The developer saw revenues of $81.8 million for the quarter, up 58% year-on-year. Its net loss also fell to $11.7 million for the period, down from a loss of $43.7 million in Q3 FY16.
Glu's key driver of revenue continues to be Design Home, which now boasts one million DAUs. The game attracted 8.7 million downloads during the quarter, along with $30.2 million in bookings for the developer.
Pressing forward
"Our strong operating performance in the quarter and year to date reflects our creative culture and better than expected results from our portfolio of growth and evergreen titles," said Glu CEO Nick Earl.
"Design Home continues to be a strong growth driver and demonstrates Glu's ability to combine our scaled operations and user acquisition strategy with quality IP."
Glu's future now rests on Design Home's continued success and a new lifestyle app starring Taylor Swift, called The Swift Life. There was no word on the state of its upcoming wrestling game made in partnership with WWE.
