Amazon's Champions of Fire casual eSports tournament returns on December 2nd

Amazon has revealed another entry in its Champions of Fire casual eSports tournament to be held in New York on December 2nd and 3rd.

It is the third Amazon eSports tournament to be held in 2017. It will focus on casual mobile games exclusively, with Sega's Sonic Forces: Speed Battle, Vector Unit's Beach Buggy Racing, Gameloft's Minion Rush, and .GEARS' Flappy Bird Family already confirmed for the event.

A host of celebrity gaming celebrities will be taking part in the competition, competing for a share of a $50,000 prize pool. Participating gamers include Swiftor, NampaiKid, NorthernLion, and more.

Free for all

The event will be free to attend for any fans who want to see in the action live. It will also be streamed on Twitch, and will air on the CBS Sports Network at a later date.

Amazon has already hosted two eSports tournaments in 2017, both of which were part of its core-focused Mobile Masters events. The latest one wrapped up in October 2017, with three competitors sharing a prize pool of $70,000.
