A man and a woman sit at a Holiday Inn bar counter, creased conference badges used as coasters for their half-drunk margaritas. Fellow delegates litter the area. An industry legend, complete with enthusiastic entourage, has hijacked the lounge piano.

Ha! Not at all. Competition is healthy – it's one of the key reasons our events haven't stopped growing in both numbers and scope since we started in 2014.

Maybe, but it's not a wall we've spotted yet. Take PGC London 2018 on January 22nd to 23rd. It's already the UK's largest b2b games conference and the biggest mobile games industry event in Europe…

That's the plan. And why not? I mean, we're not GDC yet but, you know, 1000-step journeys and all that. We'll have over 2,000 delegates from 55 nations this time around, trekking across for a 3-room, 10-track agenda featuring 45+ hours of content.

Not really. We'll have the base stuff covered, of course, but we continue to add in what's prominent: influencers, ICOs, eSports – all upgraded additions for London 2018. We were asked for more workshops, so now we have a dedicated set of workshop sessions. And then we've broadened further with XR Connects and PC Connects taking place alongside PGC.

Okay, okay. Content-tastic, then. To be frank, though, I don't typically sit in the track rooms – too much pressure to network. If I don't come back with a bagful of business cards, it'll be me the guys in the office will be mourning around the watercooler.
