Homescapes racks up 35 million downloads and nine million DAUs

Developer Playrix has another hit on its hands as Homescapes surpasses 35 million downloads in less than two months.

Speaking to PocketGamer.biz in a newly published ‘making of’ article, Creative Director Igor Elovikov claimed the itle was the most downloaded mobile game in the world during October. It was launched on September 21st.

He also revealed that Homescapes has more than nine million people playing the game everyday.

In it for the long haul?

Homescapes is a spin-off of Playrix’s other hit match-3 game, Gardenscapes, which has become a regular top grossing game around the world.

Gardenscapes has origins in the hidden object genre on PC, but has become wildly successful as a free-to-play match-3 title for mobile.

Should Homescapes continue its early success Playrix may well have another long-term top grosser on its hands.
