Jam City has partnered with Dr Seuss Enterprises to bring its character The Grinch to Panda Pop for a Christmas-themed event.

Running until January 2018, the event will see the game's artwork and characters updated with a Grinch theme, new levels, and new costumes for some characters. A global co-operative event will also be run throughout the period.

This is the first time that The Grinch has appeared in a mobile game of any kind. 2017 is the 60th anniversary of the original story How The Grinch Stole Christmas!.

A unique honour

"It is a unique honor to be working with such a wonderfully nostalgic and iconic brand. When you combine the massive worldwide appeal of Dr. Seuss's Grinch with one of the most delightful, creative puzzle games in the world, you have a recipe for holiday gaming magic," said Josh Yguado, Co-Founder, President and COO of Jam City.

"Our entire Panda Pop team's hearts have grown three sizes at the chance to make this a special holiday season for our millions of players."

Jam City is currently running an influencer campaign for its other top title, Cookie Jam. Both Panda Pop and Cookie Jam cleared 100 million downloads in 2017.
