Weekly UK App Store charts: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp heads straight to the top

Each week app market intelligence firm Reflection, in partnership with Ukie, publish the top grossing and most downloaded games from the UK App Store.

So we’re sharing that data each week to give you an insight into how the UK mobile games market is evolving.

Pitching up

For the week of November 20th to 26th, it's no surprise that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has headed straight to the number one spot in both the iPhone and iPad free games charts.

Nintendo's latest mobile game has received a flurry of downloads across the globe - an estimated 15 million in its first six days - and the UK has proven no different.

Other new entries to the iPhone top 10 include Ketchapp's puzzler Bricks, Mind Magic Games' word game What The Rebus? and Playfo's racing title Epic Racers - Atlantic Drift.

The iPhone top grossing chart has seen some movement with Playdemic's Golf Clash shooting up six places to 2nd spot just behind King's Candy Crush Saga.

Niantic's Pokemon GO meanwhile has re-entered the top 10 in sixth place.
