Casual mobile games developer Stick Sports crosses 70 million downloads

Casual web and mobile games developer Stick Sports has surpassed 70 million downloads of its portfolio since its first mobile game launched in late 2010.

Managing Director Paul Collins wrote about the figure in a LinkedIn post on December 8th. According to App Annie, December 15th 2017 is the seventh anniversary of the studio's first mobile game Stick Cricket.

Stick Sports opened its doors back in 2006. It has offices in both Sydney and London, and is currently hiring for roles in both locations.

One hell of a journey

"It's been one hell of a journey to reach 70 million downloads. Some huge successes and some downright dogs. But we've done it our way, with fun, irreverence, and without limits," Collins wrote in his post.

"We need more like-minded people to help us design, build, and launch the games that will push us through 100 million downloads."

We last wrote about Stick Sports in June 2016 when it partnered with Nazara Games on Stick Cricket Virat & Rohit. It was the first game the developer created that focused on specific character's unique playstyles.
