Fortnite mobile grosses $25 million in first month

Epic’s smash hit mobile battle royale Fortnite has generated $25 million in worldwide revenue in its first month, claims mobile intelligence firm Sensor Tower.

The title was released 30 days ago on iOS with invite-only access, getting a full public launch on April 1st.

Sensor Tower reports that daily revenues have so far topped $1 million. In that time, Fortnite was said to be second only to entertainment streaming service Netflix when it comes to US iPhone user spend.

Victory royale

During the first two weeks of April, Fortnite reportedly generated $9.5 million. That’s 1.5-times more than the second highest grossing game during that period, King’s Candy Crush Saga, which earned $5.7 million.

Sensor Tower estimated that should Epic’s battle royale hit launch on Google Play bt the summer, it could generate more than $500 million by the end of 2018 on mobile alone.
