Amazon’s $100,000 Mobile Masters esports tournament returns in June

Amazon is set to host its Mobile Masters esports tournament once again on June 23rd to 24th.

This year’s competition will see players competing in games such as Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, Survival Arena, World of Tanks Blitz and Critical Ops for their share of the $100,000 prize pool.

Streamers in Seattle

Both Legacy Wars and Survival Arena will open up qualifying rounds in May to all players using Amazon’s recently launched competitive gaming service GameOn, which enables devs to create in-game tournaments across platforms.

The Mobile Masters event will be broadcast from Amazon’s new streaming studio in Seattle.

“In talking with nWay and Game Insight, we recognised both developers were looking for ways to scale their competitive play,” said Amazon competitive gaming director Marja Koopmans.

“With GameOn, they can now run qualifiers across the globe for Mobile Masters, identify the best players in their games, award prizes to participants and nurture talent creating a stronger sense of community. We’re thrilled to help these developers realize their vision and host their top players at Mobile Masters this summer.”
