Facebook's Level Up program gives game streamers new ways to build their brand

Facebook is on a tireless crusade to offer an alternative for gaming creators, and a new program may help emerging talent up their game.

The Level Up program is a new resource for rising creators using Facebook. The program will help new creators jumpstart their journey, as well as providing information and tools to help streamers build and manage their communities and connect with fans.

Monetisation is a key component for creators, and that is taken care of with Facebook Stars. Facebook Stars will allow fans to support creators with the ability to buy and gift digital goods during a broadcast.

Facebook is also testing fan support via monthly payments with a select group of partnered streamers.

Members of the Level Up program will also gain support from established creators using Facebook, as well as customised access to bug reports and troubleshooting through Facebook support.

FB.GG

Facebook is also testing a new gaming destination with a new short URL - fb.gg. This link will put prerecorded and live video all in one place, so viewers can just access the gaming part of Facebook with ease.
