Italian indie developer Ovosonico has partnered with 505 Games to create “new, ambitious IP”.
The studio behind boutique indie games like Last Day Of June is hoping to expand into the growing indie-Triple-A market through the partnership.
Ovosonico claims the collaboration with 505 Games will grant them access to the “resources and know-how of a recognised and successful international team".
Making moves
A new office in Milan will serve as the company’s new headquarters to support an expanding team size and increased infrastructure. Ovosonico has begun recruiting in preparation for the expansion.
“Moving our focus to Independent triple-A is all about creating IP with high production values and mainstream appeal, but with the more focused game design, lower price point and open development process that defines indie games,” said Ovosonico CEO Massimo Guarini (pictured).
“We’re very excited to partner up again with 505 Games."
