GetSocial has partnered with games tech giant Unity to bring its social analytics and publishing tools to the Asset Store.

Developers can use the platform to help drive organic user acquisition and social engagement. It can be used to help users share game invites and content, as well as enable the studio to track usage.

GetPlayers

GetSocial claims to be power referrals and in-app communities for more than 100 million users each day.

The company said that Sonic Forces: Speed Battle players who had received invites from its platform had a 43 per cent higher lifetime retention rate than regular players.

“At GetSocial, we know that social behaviour is a key differentiator for successful engagement and retention,” said GetSocial CEO Jeroen Bouwman (pictured).

“Across millions of users, our referral technology is generating hundreds of thousands of viral installs a month, and our customers are seeing incredible increases in retention, sometimes as high as 300 per cent.”
