Google has named the nominees of the fourth annual Google Play Awards.

The tech giant has revealed the shortlist for the 2019 awards, with nine titles up for grabs across nine categories. New categories include Most Beautiful Game, Living Room Experience and Most Inventive, while a number of last year’s categories have been dropped.

The nominations were chosen by teams across Google, with initial thresholds based on store ratings, Android vitals and whether a given app has had a major launch or update in the last 12 months.

Below are the nominees for the 2019 Google Play Awards. The winners will be announced at the head of Google I/O on May 6th.
