Following the success of our two Pocket Gamer Connects Digital conferences, the first in April and the other in June, we are once again returning to the digital realm with Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki Digital.
From Monday, September 14 to Friday, September 18, more than 1,500 attendees will log on to our network from all around the world and hear from over 220 world-class speakers sharing their expert insight in user acquisition, development, industry trends from Finland and beyond, investment, monetisation and more.

As we’ve mentioned before, we understand the impact that the outbreak of COVID-19 has affected the games industry, with many conferences postponed, cancelled or moving to a digital format, including Pocket Gamer Connects. Unfortunately we won’t be able to return to the wonderful city of Helsinki in person, but we will be returning digitally with Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki Digital.
Our team is working hard to put together an amazing line-up for you, but you can expect to see over 90 sessions providing more than 50 hours of content which will be streamed live and be made available for on-demand viewing, as well as access to our 24-hour networking platform so you can connect with anyone from around the world at a time that suits you both.
The Big Indie Pitches for both mobile and PC + console will return again in digital format, enabling indie developers a shot at winning promotional prize packages worth thousands, as well as the opportunity for valuable feedback from our panel of expert judges - without having to worry about travelling far and wide.
In addition, online versions of our popular matchmaking events will be held at the conference. The Publisher SpeedMatch sessions pair developers speed-dating style with publishers to discuss their potential involvement with one another. Meanwhile the Investor Connector pairs pre-selected lone developers or independent studios with investors looking to spend the right kind of money in the right sector.
The PGC 2020 Sessions makes another appearance but this time online, which invites our speakers to let their hair down and talk on any topic in just 20 slides, each visible for only 20 seconds.
We will be hosting the Journalist Bar which is a dedicated online booth where you can demo your game to the Pocket Gamer journalists at certain times during the day.
