Just over two weeks remain until Pocket Gamer Connects Digital #4, which takes place between November 9th and 13th.
Pocket Gamer Connects Digital will continue our string of successful digital events. Yet again, we will provide excellent panels, interesting talks, and fringe events, and we have improved upon the meeting system since our last go around.
The number of tracks has increased for our fourth digital event. We have 16 insightful tracks for attendees to take in – subjects include growth, esports, live ops, global trends, Blockchain and big screen gaming.
Every day we will look at each of the 17 tracks in turn. Today is Global Trends, a look at the global market for the mobile games industry.
Monday, November 9th
15:30 - The track will begin with a superstar session, to be held by GameAnalytics CEO Ioana Hreninciuc. She will cover, 2020 gaming KPI's in review. Specifically, she will discuss the performance of casual and hypercasual games across different markets.
16:30 - Want to know more about working on non-IP based games as a publisher? Then you will not want to miss Crunchyroll General manager of games Terry Li and Crunchyroll social media manager Justin Lasola give their session on the subject.
17:00 - Next, a talk with Flying Mollusk creative director Erin Reynolds on the positive influence of games.
17:30 - Finally, the track will close with a panel, centred on the advantages and challenges of working with licensed IPs. A group of experts will take to the stage, the first being Double Loop Games founder and CEO Emily Greer and Paranoid Productions owner and creative director Richard Rouse III. The pair will be joined by Headup CEO and founder Dieter Schoeller, ArenaNet senior manager of liver operations Daniel McLaren and The Pokemon Company International senior attorney Kathy Carpenter. Finally, the panel will be completed by Survios CPO TQ Jefferson and GameJam co-founder and CEO Christian Calderon.
