During his MBA, Xavier worked at IDG Ventures Vietnam, a VC firm based in Saigon, where he focused on gaming market opportunities in South East Asia, especially on Vinagames and Garena, two start-ups which are now valued at over 1bn US$. After graduating from INSEAD in 2009, Xavier was hired by Bertelsmann, the largest European media group to work in acquisition, turnarounds and business development.

In 2012, Xavier joined HitFox, a 6 month old incubator with 25+ employees based in Berlin. Xavier made extensive research and recommended 2 business models, which became GameFinder and AppLift. Xavier managed HitFox GameFinder and developed the entire Product & Tech of AppLift with a team of 25+ product managers and developers focusing on mobile ad tech products (SDK, Widget, API, Mediation, Retargeting). In 2 years, HitFox became one of the most successful incubators in Berlin and grew to 250 employees.
