Angry Birds spreads its wings to Appitalism
As if reaching out to new platforms wasn't enough for Angry Birds – which, at last count, has clocked up downloads of more than 42 million – Rovio's smash is also popping up on multiple marketplaces on the same format.

The latest to benefit is Mobile Streams' community focused Appitalism, which offers apps for both Android and Symbian.

Birdy boost"We pride ourselves on being the one-stop-shop for all devices and platforms and for the quality of the apps we sell," said Mobile Streams CEO Simon Buckingham.

"Angry Birds is a very welcome addition to our current catalog of over five million premium apps and we are pleased to be offering the game to each and every one of our localised stores around the world."
Angry Birds' original leap to Android came in the form of GetJar, shifting 2 million copies of the free, ad-supported model in its first few days on sale.
