Mobile analytics outfit App Annie has unveiled the latest version of App Annie Intelligence, which will be rolled out to existing users in June.
The biggest innovation is the ability to access the Intelligence tools via the web and utilising thirdparty tool Tableau for in-depth visualisations.
This flexibility will give App Annie users fast, visual access to Android and iOS multi-app store data intelligence - helpful when you're looking to make an informed decisions from meaningful data.
The brains of the outfit
App Annie Intelligence works by filtering app ranking data and billions of anonymous data points through proprietary statistical models in order to create estimates for the downloads and revenues of all ranked apps.
Companies using it include Kabam, King, Glu Mobile, EA, KakaoTalk, Google and Microsoft.
Previously, App Annie users relied on the Intelligence Report - which provided access to raw app market data that could be analysed, manipulated, and otherwise crunched using whatever tool a user chose.
Now, the new web-based interface - Intelligence Web - gives users quick access to daily estimates in a variety of pre-configured views that can be defined by the user.
Users can also access visualisations through Tableau. 25 pre-set visualisation are provided out-of-the-box.
"We've taken a product that is known throughout the industry to provide the most accurate market estimates for app downloads and revenues," said CEO Bertrand Schmitt.
"We've developed tools that allow our customers deeper and near real-time access to the insights the data provides."
Existing App Annie customers will be able to access all of the new features by mid-June at no extra cost.
