Mobile billing outfit Bango partners with Amazon to service online retail giant
Adding to existing agreement with Opera to service the firm's Opera Mobile App Store, mobile billing specialist Bango has announced it has signed a deal with online retail giant Amazon.

Financial details of the deal have not been made public – indeed, it's not clear just how or where Bango's technology will be employed – but Bango claims it's the third partner of this kind it's secured.

"The terms of this agreement are not being disclosed," the company said in a statement.

"The board believes it is too early in the relationship to accurately forecast the level of business which it may generate."

In response, Bango's shares rose by 20 percent in value in the immediate aftermath of the announcement – a welcome rush for the firm, which issued a profit warning back in November.

The company also provides analytics support for RIM's BlackBerry Advertising Service.
