HTC's Mango powered 12MP 'Mazaa' for Windows Phone hits web
He might have been wrong suggesting Microsoft was preparing to buyout Nokia's hardware business, but Eldar Murtazin appears to be back on form.

Via his website Mobile-Review.com, the Russian tech blogger has showcased HTC's latest yet-to-be-unveiled Windows Phone handset, dubbed Mazaa.

Detailed in a 13 minute video, the new handset comes equipped with Mango – the next version of the platform, due to roll out this autumn.

It also appears to be the device used by Microsoft to demonstrate Mango during the company's press blitz last week, sporting a 12 megapixel camera capable of exporting the RAW format.

As an aside, Winrumors.com reports the Mazaa will come equipped with an updated CPU and GPU configuration, standing as the new benchmark for the platform moving forward.

It's believed the refreshed hardware is specifically designed to power IE9's HTML5 support, though this will be rolled out across existing handsets also.

Mazaa was first unveiled by XDA Developers back in April, which reported that it would come fitted with a single LED flash light (ruling out 3D photos) and a 3.7 inch screen. It's believed US carrier Sprint will be the first operator to carry the handset.
