Hiring in Hamburg - InnoGames creates 100 new jobs and in-house business centre for start-ups

The Hamburg-based InnoGames is making the most of its upcoming office move to create 100 new positions in its development studio.

By the end of 2014, InnoGames plans to have a total staff of 400 developing and publishing games from its new office.

Thankfully, many of InnoGames' existing staff won't have too far to move - the studio will remain in Hamburg, but is moving closer to the city centre.

Room to grow

Even with the new hires, InnoGames still has room to expand as its new offices have a total capacity of up to 500 employees.

Speaking on the new location, COO and co-founder Michael Zillmer suggested that this expansion might not be too far off.

"Our new offices will not only offer modern workspaces on 6.600 square meters, but are also a great foundation for InnoGames' further growth,"

The new office location will offer employees numerous perks and conveniences like a gym and barista bar.

"It's very challenging for us maintain our targeted growth and to hire enough new, highly qualified colleagues," began Zillmer.

"That's why creating a positive working atmosphere and making our existing colleagues feel comfortable is crucial to us."

The second floor of the new office will house the new "InnoHub" - a business centre that offers affordable, furnished offices for start-ups and entrepreneurs.

Those who set up shop in the InnoHub will also gain access to a mentoring program where they'll be coached on how to deal with legal, financial, marketing, and HR issues.
