Cobra Mobile's Mark Ettle and Finblade's John Chasey confirmed for AppCon 2010
Organisers behind Dundee's inaugural International App Conference – more commonly known as AppCon 2010 – have revealed an initial line up of seven speakers for the event, due to take place in  November.

Notable speakers include Mark Ettle – MD of Dundee-based developer Cobra Mobile – and Finblade head John Chasey, who previously co-founded one of the UK's first mobile studios, IOMO.

Other confirmed speakers include GladiatorMedia.be founder Thomas Joos, Mobilio.nl co-founders Jeroen Retrae and Lyan van Furth, Replay Games founder Paul Trowe, and IP law specialist Lesley Larg from Scottish law firm Thorntons Law.

Both Nokia and Steel Media, which publishes Pocket Gamer, will also be involved, organisers have revealed.

AppCon 2010, which will run alongside the 48 hour development challenge AppJam, will kick off this November 8 at Dundee's Discovery Point, home to the RSS Discovery.

Tickets for AppCon can be purchased at an early bird price of £99 (plus VAT) until October 4, available for £125 thereafter.

Tickets include the NeoN digital arts festival are also available at an early bird price of £150 (plus VAT), jumping up to £175 after October 4.
