King.com brings its popular web title Bubble Witch Saga to Google+
King.com's success moving five of its web games over to Facebook in the last year has seen it pull in 23.8 million monthly active users and it's now looking to expand that userbase with the launch of its first Google+ game.
Bubble Witch Saga, King.com's most popular title boasting 4 million daily active users on Facebook, is due to launch on the Google social network, with CMO Alex Dale commenting on the ease of the move and the ambitions of his company.

King of the hill

"It takes a lot of time, effort and creativity to do great games," Dale said.

"We want all of our games to run across multiple platforms. We look forward to having a good relationship with Google. This is virgin territory, but it has been easy to do."

King.com was early to iOS gaming, releasing Amazon Survival in 2009, and half a dozen titles since.

It launched its first cross-platform mobile and social game Miner Speed (including on iOS and Android) in April 2011. It uses single sign-in across all platforms.

Dale commented that King.com would look to port more of its titles over to Google+ in the future.

Google's answer to Facebook currently boasts a userbase of over 90 million users.
