NOVO Open API gambling platform goes live

Probability and Mfuse partner to offer mobile gambling
The difficulty developers have always faced with gambling games is setting up an online billing system with betting companies. But London-based Mfuse has spent several years developing the NOVO Open API platform intended to take all the work out of partnerships between game companies and gambling systems.

Mobile developer Probability is now putting the Mfuse system to work with a new range of mobile betting games, The Guardian reports, beginning with a deal with TV studio Fremantle to develop virtual, mobile slot machines based on its program licenses (including X Factor and The Price is Right).

“The sports betting market is growing very rapidly and shows no signs of stopping," says chief executive of Mfuse, Marcus Wareham. “As a result, we know the appetite is there for mobile gaming products. Opening up our platform allows us to rapidly deploy already successful mobile content to a huge client base. The partnership with Probability provides us with a strong base from which to start due to their large portfolio of original and branded content.”

Probability is the first developer to make use of the new mobile gambling system, which can potentially provide direct access to large-scale betting companies such as Betsson, Bet365, Gala Coral Group, Ladbrokes, Sky Bet, Sporting Index, Sportingbet, Paddy Power and William Hill.

Yes. Spanner's his real name. And, yes, he's heard that joke before.
