How does intelligent ad monetisation work?

As part of Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2016, Anna Baidachnaya, the head of Appodeal's European branch, gave a talk on the intelligent ad monetisation offered by Appodeal.

She talked about what Appodeal can offer to developers looking to monetise, including its 35-plus premium ad demand sources in a single SDK package.

Chasing waterfalls

The SDK also includes support for all types of monetisation, including interstitials and native ads, to maximise revenue potential across the globe for different kinds of games.

The service uses a "flat waterfall" model, which Baidachnaya said "prioritises the most optimal ads at the right time".
