Radmule Labs' CEO breaks it down

How to successfully run a development studio when your team works remotely

As part of Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2016, Ulas Bilgenoglu, CEO of Radmule Labs, gave a talk on how best to work with your team when working remotely.

He started by saying that "it is not cheap" since you need to pay developers a good rate to encourage them to work with you, even if they are in a "cheaper" country than where you are based.

Rock stars and culture shocks

However, Bilgenoglu says that "you can work with the rock stars" as you don't need to bring them to your office to work and can just connect from anywhere in the world.

However, "the most important thing is not everyone is suited to work remotely", said Bilgenoglu, as some people cannot work well within that culture.
