The National Association of Software and Services Companies today announced that India’s premier games development conference, the NASSCOM Game Developer Conference 2016 (NGDC 2016) will take place from November 10th - 12th, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, in Hyderabad, India.

The NGDC 2016 will feature over 1100+ delegates, 80 speakers across seven tracks, curated networking with publishers and investors and an expanded Expo that showcases the creative talent and upcoming industry trends in interactive entertainment in India.

NGDC 2016 will feature 3 days of dedicated tracks focused on indies, game design, publishing/advertising, game art and technology, with the introduction of two new tracks - production and serious games.

The agenda will be curated by the NGDC Content team and an International Advisory Council.

The event has hosted eminent speakers like Ed Fries (former head of MGS), Yasuhiro Fukushima (Emeritus Chairman of Square Enix), Ernest Adams (author of the seminal book on Game Design), Glen Schofield (Call of Duty), Trip Hawkins, Henry LaBounta and Ste Curran.

With an expanded expo floor featuring more Indian games, country pavilions and a new virtual reality pavilion, NGDC 2016 is shaping up as the biggest showcase of Indian games development and business talent, and the ‘go to’ event for International participants looking at the India opportunity.

The NASSCOM Gaming Forum Awards 2016 will also recognise achievements in Indian games development and encourage the creation of original innovative IP in India. The curated networking event will give Indian games developers the opportunity to meet with publishers.
