Gamevil and XL Games combine to release ArcheAge

Korea game publishing outfit Gamevil has partnered with developer XL Games to release a mobile version of the successful MMORPG, ArcheAge.

Jake Song, CEO of XL Games, which is known for developing the hit titles Kingdom of the Winds and Lineage, has explained that ArcheAge is a showcase for the latest technology, unique storylines, and freedom in gameplay.

Indeed, it's features such as those that ensured ArcheAge received the Best Planning and Scenario, Best Graphics, and the President's Award at the 2013 Korea Game Awards.

Adapt to thrive

Gamevil hopes that it will be able to tap into the global mobile market and give gamers around the world the chance to enjoy ArcheAge on mobile.

Ultimately, the firm intends to use its extensive knowledge of online adaption, combined with XL Games’ vast development experience, to provide "the ultimate mobile MMORPG experience".
