Godus heads to China thanks to LongTu publishing deal

Chinese publisher LongTu Games is certainly keeping itself busy when it comes to publishing western games in China.

Currently working with Kabam over Marvel Contest of Champions, it's signed up 22cans' Godus for mobile and PC.

In terms of its domestic games, it's also the publisher of top grossing Chinese mobile game Daota Legend.

Not godless China

“The game’s unique qualities is one of the the main reasons behind Longtu Games’ signing of Godus," said LongTu CEO Shenghui Yang.

"A true work of art, Godus has been featured many times by Apple’s App Store and most recently as one of the ’15 Most Beautiful Games’ this past June.

“The new co-operation between Longtu Games and 22cans represents an interflow and exchange of originality and experience. Both sides will have plenty to learn from each other.

"We hope this new partnership will allow us to learn more about western gaming ideology from a true gaming industry icon in Peter Molyneux”
