GameFounders opens submissions for Janaury 2017 round of acceleration

Game accelerator GameFounders has opened up submissions to developers to take part in its three-month programme.

The accelerator will take place in Kuala Lumpur from January 2017. Each team chosen will be given $25,000 in seed funding by GameFounders in exchange for a "moderate" share of equity.

Teams will be chosen based on the team composition, their vision and the quality of work the team can produce.

Teams are expected to have a beta, prototype or "slice of the game" available to play. They must also be prepared to set up a new business.

Expert mentoring

In exchange developers will have access to over 150 gaming mentors and partners from studios around the world. Executives from EA, Blizzard, Rovio and Ketchapp will all be on hand to offer advice to the teams.

GameFounders has worked with and invested in 60 companies from 26 countries, including OY Games, which won the Audience Choice at Casual Connect 2016.

The deadline for submissions to enter the accelerator is November 15th.

You can apply for a place on the program on GameFounders' website.
