Moonfrog Labs teams up with Bollywood star for new celebrity game Alia Bhatt: Star Life

Bangalore-based developer Moonfrog Labs has teamed up with Bollywood star Alia Bhatt for its latest game called Alia Bhatt: Star Life.

The title appears to be quite similar to Glu Mobile's Kim Kardashian: Hollywood in terms of style and gameplay. The most obvious change is its focus on the India market with its celebrity tie-in and locations.

Players will start as an unknown actor and work their way up to being a Bollywood star with the help of the in-game Alia Bhatt, whose likeness is used heavily throughout the game.

Top quality entertainment

"We believe in delivering top quality entertainment to Indians, and I'm very excited to share this game we've built with Alia," said Mark Skaggs, Director of Moonfrog, as reported by the India Times.

"She is a top actor and an inspiration for many youngsters in India. Having a digital version of her guide our players gives them excitement and a sense of belonging to the celebrity world. I'm proud of the hard work by our team to develop this immersive and truly engaging game for Bollywood fans."

Moonfrog was founded by a number of Zynga veterans back in October 2013. In March 2015 it raised $15 million to aggressively hire new staff and grow the studio.
