Medals of War developer Nitro Games has signed a deal with Netmarble EMEA to publish its game in Turkish and Arabic-speaking countries.

Few other details were provided about the deal. Presumably, Netmarble EMEA will handle localisation and publishing while Nitro Games continues to develop and update the game.

Netmarble EMEA is a subsidiary of Netmarble Games, specifically focused on releases in Turkey, the Middle East, and North Africa. It currently has over 50 million registered players across there regions.

The best match

"This planned launch with Netmarble EMEA follows our strategy where we seek to self-publish our games in the western markets and access other markets through local partners," said Jussi Tähtinen, CEO and Co-Founder, Nitro Games Oyj.

"We feel that Netmarble is the best match for us and for Medals of War for these markets."

Nitro Games went public back in June 2017 with a market cap of around $8.45 million. It is using the money raised from its IPO to expand into self-publishing its games.

Netmarble was named as one of the top companies in the world in PocketGamer.biz's Top 50 Developer 2017 list.
