Fireproof Games has signed a publishing partnership deal with NetEase to bring The Room Three and The Room: Old Sins to Asia.

The deal will see NetEase translate and publish the games in mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Macau. The games will launch first in March 2018 in each region aside from China.

Previous entries in the series were published by Chorus Worldwide. The Room made the jump to Asia in June 2015, while The Room Two was eventually launched in September 2016.

Another room, another time

The Room Three initially launched in November 2015 in the West. All of the first three games in the series generated £3.3 million ($4.7 million) in revenues in their first year of release.

The Room: Old Sins was announced back in March 2017 and launched on January 25th 2018. This makes it the first game in the series to be translated for the Asia market within a year of its Western release.

Our sister site PocketGamer gave Old Sins a gold medal, stating that "it's still super slick, it still offers some of the best puzzling on the App Store, and it's still creepy as hell."
