Newly-acquired studio seeks new recruits

Ubisoft Halifax is hiring a Mobile Game Producer

Ubisoft Halifax, formerly known as Longtail Studios, is looking to hire a Mobile Game Producer.

Longtail Studios, which had collaborated extensively with Ubisoft on both console and mobile projects including TNA Wrestling, was acquired by Ubisoft in October 2015 with the mission statement "to become a triple-A mobile studio."

Big plans

Having immediately sought to grow the existing team at the newly-established Ubisoft Halifax with 10 new hires, the Mobile Game Producer role is the latest in a series of vacancies at the Nova Scotia studio.

Requiring a minimum of 5 years spent as a Producer in the games industry - or 3 years in the mobile industry specifically - considerable experience of managing a team will be expected of the successful candidate.

Furthermore, they will be expected to have been there and done it in terms of launching a successful game - it's a prerequisite to have produced a top-250-ranking game in the US downloads charts.

Features Editor

Matt is really bad at playing games, but hopefully a little better at writing about them. He's Features Editor for PocketGamer.biz, and has also written for lesser publications such as IGN, VICE, and Paste Magazine.
