Zynga hiring for new Helsinki development studio headed by former EA Tracktwenty execs

Zynga is hiring for nine job vacancies at its new studio in Helsinki, Finland.

The publisher officially registered the company on December 13th, 2016, but little was known about the studio at the time.

It now appears to be a full-fledged games development team. Vacancies at the office include Lead Game Designer/Creative Director, Lead Technical Artist, Senior Producer, Senior Programmer and more.

Track record

The studio is being headed up by ex-EA Tracktwenty staffers Henrik Lönnroth and Marko Lastikka.

The two have updated their LinkedIn profiles, and Zynga has since confirmed to PocketGamer.biz they will indeed lead the new studio.

Lönnroth has been named as VP of Operations, having previously worked as Senior Director of Operations and Engineering at EA Tracktwenty and VP of Technology at Digital Chocolate.

Lastikka meanwhile has joined as VP and GM of the Helsinki office. Prior to his new role he worked at Tracktwenty as GM and Executive Producer, and before that as VP of Production at Digital Chocolate.
