Have already found great success with movie licences such as The Hobbit and Fast & Furious, Kabam has now signed a deal for The Hunger Games.
Working with IP holder Lionsgate, it's now working developing a free-to-play card-collection RPG based on the movie franchise.
Context-wise, Kabam says the game will see players assuming the identity of District members sent on a mission in order to build their alliance, liberate their District, and rebuild Panem.
Hunger revisited
Of course, it won't be the first mobile game based on The Hunger Games.
Previous examples have included a 3D endless runner and a 2D side-scroller, although neither have been particular successful.
The game will be developed in Kabam's China studio, which also worked on The Hobbit.
The next installment of the movie - The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 - will be released 21 November 2014, followed by Part 2 on 20 November 2015.
