Jussi Kasurinen on the synergies between universities and game start-ups

At Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2014, Dr Jussi Kasurinen from Lappeenranta University of Technology spoke about the university's role in the Playa game cluster.

"Start-up companies need money, talent, contacts, tools, platforms and an office," he says, pointing out that universities can often can supply these things.

But talking about the different attitudes of the two organisations, he warned that "universities need start-ups more than start-ups need universities".
