Wargaming strategy publisher Slitherine Group has announced it's acquired US developer Shenandoah Studio.
The iOS developer is best known for its war strategy games like Drive on Moscow and Battle of the Bulge, making it a logical deal for both parties.
Shenandoah gains the resources of the larger outfit for expansion, while Slitherine gets market share in the fast-growing mobile sector.
The price of the acquisition wasn't revealed.
All together
"As Shenandoah has grown, the needs of supporting, upgrading, and distributing our current titles imposed ever-increasing burdens on our ability to move ahead with the new material our customers want", said CEO Eric Lee Smith.
"Slitherine has the scale and reach to ensure that Shenandoah moves ahead productively and delivers exciting new games for our audience to enjoy."
"We are looking forward to partnering with Shenandoah's founders to amplify our vision to conquer new ground and expand the boundaries of strategy gaming even further," added Slitherine's chairman JD McNeil.
