Google allows Chinese developers to sell their games in over 130 countries

Google has announced that it will offer merchant support for developers in China, giving local developers the chance to export and sell their apps to Google Play users in over 130 countries, excluding China itself.

Chinese developers will now be able to offer both free and paid applications through various monetisation models, including in-app purchasing and subscriptions.

Any revenue developers make will be paid into their Chinese bank accounts via USD wire transfers.

Chinese Android developers looking to distribute their apps globally will have to register as a Google Play developer.

Those selling in-app products will also need to sign up for a Google Wallet merchant account, which can be done over on the revenue page in the Google Play developer console.

After filling out the necessary forms, and uploading their apps, developers will be able to set prices in the developer console and later receive reports on their revenue.
