New retention tool

Social gaming network Pocket Arena launches on iOS

M-BIZ Global's Pocket Arena, a free and multiplatform SDK which adds social elements to any mobile game, has now launched on iOS after a successful Android release.

The social sharing aspect brought to a game by Pocket Arena is intended to assist player retention and grow the number of daily active users via social engagement.

So far, the service boasts a reported 69 percent increase in average game share among its clients, and a 74 percent overall increase in new players. And, with this level of success on Android, it is no surprise that the firm is now looking to iOS.

"We have got a lot of requests from mobile game developers asking us to provide the SDK in an iOS version," said M-BIZ Global president Hyong Kim. "We take all comments on board and Pocket Arena will now be available for them.”

Sticking with friends

It also counts global publisher Digital Chocolate as one of its satisfied users.

"Pocket Arena has helped Digital Chocolate increase its user retention significantly," said Dayanidhi M G, Digital Chocolate's Managing Director, Asia Pacific.

"We only implemented it three months ago and we saw results right away. One of the key features of Pocket Arena, its ‘1-on=-1 challenge’, where a user can invite friends to play and compete, is a classic example of how a simple looking feature can boost a game traffic and attract more users globally."

"I would highly recommend Pocket Arena to any game developers who want to increase user retention on their mobile games."

More information about Pocket Arena can be found on its website.
